Clare Caravan Park For Sale

The Clare Valley is one of SA’s premier tourist destinations
Location, Location, Location with Opportunity

It is a pleasure to be appointed to handle the sale process of the leasehold business of the Clare Caravan Park by Expressions of Interest.

The Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council has taken the decision to seek an operator to purchase the leasehold business and name of the Clare Caravan Park.

We expect the successful applicant who sees the opportunity that awaits will have the financial resources to continue Council’s ongoing program of developing the unique grounds and this business into one of SA’s leading caravan parks.   More.....

Caravan Park Design

Over the years, Caravan Parks have evolved in their growth and as such have seen a varied shape within parks and now park owners are experiencing problems such as…..
· Not enough power available (Larger current demanded by users)
· Bigger Vans (RV’s etc)
· Larger sites required
· What does the future hold

Larger RV’s need to be considered
Larger RV's
The key factor of any design is to provide a high quality of living and to create an enjoyable environment for both permanent and casual occupants. This was achieved by……
Reviewing the current park layout
Reviewing the current operation of the parks
· Turnover
· Profit Controls
· Management
· Maintenance
· Expenses
Reviewing the need of tourism & permanent accommodation for the area

The plan will look at all Green issues and cutting costs in relation to….
· Maintenance of Parks
· Remote Parks
· Flora/Fauna
· Sola v Gas/Electricity
· Govt Rebates
· Type of plant & equipment
As we mention above, most caravan parks evolve through time rather than planned with future changes being considered. A planned site will offer greater asset value for the park owners.

Wow, it was BIG and the Town was Rocking and Rolling

It was the "Big 4" Conference in Christchurch, New Zealand held from October 12-15th.
Our group "Caravan Park Brokers Australia', through our Tower Victoria/Tasmania Group were the major sponsors of the convention.

One hundred & thirty six parks, (93 from Australia & 43 Top Ten Parks from New Zealand) were represented along with a large contingent of Americans from "Camp Grounds of America", attended. Totalling well over 300 delegates.
Most agreed it was one of the best Conventions ever & much good cheer was had by all.
Gavin Farrell from Beachlands Caravan Park in Busselton, W.A. was elected as Chairperson, Well Done Gavin.
Everyone felt for the people of Christchurch, who not only suffered the Earthquake that devistated some areas and destroyed or damaged some beautiful buildings in the City, but also suffered constant aftershocks which were soul destroying at the time.
By the time we left Christchurch nearly 2,000 aftershocks had been registered - we felt one in particular when it reached 5.3 on the scale.
We wish the people of Christchurch all the best for the future and re building of many areas within the City.
All things considered the Convention was a huge success and congratulations to the organisers.
